It won't be too long now before the inevitable release of Battlefield 5, and the crew at EA Dice are beginning to prepare for what will hopefully be a smooth launch. Part of that process includes hosting a special closed alpha test to give fans an early glimpse at the game and get a feel for all of the recent changes to the Battlefield formula. With that said, the upcoming alpha is a closed test, and only those who are specifically invited will be able to participate. Those that do will be treated to a special look at some of the distinct classes, weapons, planes, tanks, gadgets, and more that will be featured in the full game. Whether participating in the test or not, we've got the full breakdown of everything featured in the Battlefield 5 closed alpha listed below.

Battlefield 5 Closed Alpha System Requirements and Eligibility

We've gone more in-depth on this topic with our guide to the Battlefield 5 closed alpha system requirements and eligibility, but the highlights are that the closed alpha is invite-only, meaning there's no registration or sign up page anywhere — EA DICE will choose the players it wants to participate in the alpha and message them directly. Beyond that, the alpha needs a fairly robust PC to run, with bare minimum requirements calling for an i5 6600K or AMD FX 8350 processor, GeForce GTX 1050 or AMD Radeon HD 7850 graphics, 8GB of RAM, and 50GB free hard drive space. Beyond this, players can find more information about the Battlefield 5 closed alpha over on the official Battlefield website.
