Gamers of the Sony persuasion who opt in to the company's PlayStation Plus subscription service are about to get an all-new set of games to enjoy, and this time around things are looking distinctly dramatic.

According to a post made over on the PlayStation.Blog, the headline PlayStation Plus free games for July include the gorgeous action RPG Absolver from the developers at Slocap. The upcoming offering will also include the PS4 re-release of Heavy Rain, the distinctly dramatic title from the second-party independent developers at Quantic Dream, the team currently still riding a wave of success following the recent release of Detroit: Become Human for the PlayStation 4.

Those still getting their kicks from the PlayStation 3 will be able to look forward to free copies of Rayman 3 HD and Deception 4: The Nightmare Princess, while players with a PlayStation Vita will be able to enjoy both Space Overlords and Zero Escape: Zero Time Dilemma. All PlayStation Plus subscribers will also be eligible for a discount to PlayStation Now, which is soon to include download support for PlayStation 4 games.

Players still have a few more days to claim the June 2018 PlayStation Plus free games offerings, which include the brilliant strategy title XCOM 2 as well as often-hilarious platform racer Trials Fusion for PlayStation 4. The free games list also includes Zombie Driver HD and Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Future Soldier on PS3 and both Atomic Ninjas and Squares on PlayStation Vita. Lastly, from now until July 11, PS4 owners can pick up Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 entirely for free, as a bit of a celebration ahead of the upcoming release of Black Ops 4 later this year.
