You Can Now Buy A Miniature Xbox Gaming Set For Your American Girl Doll

Honestly? I just threw one in my cart.

Anything that promotes young girls getting into gaming, or reinforces the fact that they're obviously already into it is good in my book, even if it's not done perfectly. That's why I'm such a fan of this new set of accessories for American Girl dolls. Major Nelson tweeted it out today, announcing "something completely different," and honestly I'm all the way here for it.

The Xbox Gaming Set is $50, and it comes with a miniature Xbox One S game console with a built-in projector to create 10 different gaming scenes, a small Xbox One S game controller your dolls can hold, a faux-leather game chair with built-in speaker to listen to music with, a tiny wireless gaming headset, and two discs to insert into the console with protective cases. It may honestly be one of the cutest things ever.

Unfortunately, it doesn't look like a doll is included, so you'll have to pick up this set separately from the Xbox and other goodies. But it's definitely cool to see American Girl and Xbox partnering up to make this happen, because I would have loved to see something like this when I was younger. Let's get a PlayStation 4 and Switch version going to, or a WonderSwan, huh? That'd be awesome. Also, I may have just bought a doll and this set. Oops.
