Development is going on right now in the Upside Down.

Do you love Telltale Games? Do you love Stranger Things? The developer has just confirmed that it's working on a Stranger Things video game project at present, in a partnership with streaming giant Netflix. According to a report via TechRadar, the game is currently in early production, so we don't know very much at all about it just yet, but it's fantastic news for fans of the chilling (and totally addictive) sci-fi series.

Unfortunately, right now that confirmation is pretty much all we have to go on, though the idea of the game is enough to get just about anyone pumped for further details. We're still patiently waiting for Stranger Things' third season to land so we can binge on it, so any additional content would be welcome at this point.

But that's just one result of the partnership between both companies. Netflix will also be adding Telltale video games to its streaming library in the form of Minecraft: Story Mode - Season 1, which is aiming for a fall release date.

“Minecraft: Story Mode is a licensed 5-episode interactive narrative series coming to our service this fall,” Netflix said in a statement. “It’s an extension of our other interactive stories we have on our service like Stretch Armstrong: The Breakout, Puss in Book: Trapped in an Epic Tale and Buddy Thunderstruck: The Maybe Pile.”
