EA took the opportunity to host its own show in Los Angeles in the run up to E3 2018. Dubbed, EA Play, the event gave the publisher a chance to show off its newest games for the media and fans in attendance. Battlefield 5 kicked things off with a short trailer marking the world premiere of multiplayer gameplay. It was also announced that Battlefield 5 would also be getting its own battle royale mode. The company gave no specifics, but said that more information on the mode would be available in the coming months. Rather than use their own show to debut captured gameplay for Battlefield 5, EA chose to use Youtube influencers to show off gameplay reveals. Youtube personality JackFrags was chosen to host the Grand Operations gameplay premiere.

In video, Jack goes over the specifics of how the new mode will work while the captured gameplay footage shows on screen. While the Grand Operations mode was first announced a few weeks back during the Battlefield 5 reveal event, this is the first time the mode has been seen by the public in action. Battlefield 5 will arrive on PC, PS4, and Xbox One October 19.
