Shacknews hit the ground runnng at Reboot Develop 2018, chatting with a plethora of different personalities from within the industry. One in particular was Mike Bithell, the British video game designer and developer responsible for titles like Thomas Was Alone and Subsurface Circular.

Bithell was on hand to discuss indie development and the processes that go into bringing some of your favorite games to life. He was present for a few talks this year at Reboot Develop 2018, and he chatted a bit with Shacknews about how he's made his talks more intriguing than some of the other run-of-the-mill programming at these shows.

"I try and do tips about process and thinking, so this year I did one on how we decide what projects we want to create, what the thinking is behind those decisions, and how to go through that process and make better choices in terms of the games they want to make. It seems to have gone down well," Bithell said.
