Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Details and Rumors

We really don't know too much about the latest Black Ops game so far, but that isn't to say that gamers haven't learned any details at all. Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 was officially announced by Treyarch and Activision back in March; at the time, the goal was for the game to release sometime this year. From what we can tell, that still seems to be the case. It was also at that time that the studio also revealed the following teaser trailer:

Fans will also note that Amazon's own Alexa now has a suite of Call of Duty skills that can purportedly help players get better at the game. Another detail we've heard appears to be a rumor, but it's still interesting: the rumor posited that Black Ops 4 won't feature a traditional single-player campaign, and that the game instead would focus solely on its multiplayer and zombie-based components. Again, we can't confirm or deny that detail for now, but considering the market, ditching solo campaigns might not come as any big surprise for players.

As for more details, we'll just have to wait and see. Fortunately, the live stream date and time are nearly at hand, so keep it tuned here to Shacknews to learn more about everything revealed about Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 in tomorrow's presentation.
