QuakeCon 2018 is coming faster than a railgun to the side of your head. The organizers have provided some details about what to expect from the event this year. For the first time ever, the exhibit hall will be open all day from Friday to Sunday. Other big news is that the keynote address will return alongside a variety of panels. Last but not least, the best Quake Champions players in the world will face off live at the QuakeCon Open with a $200,000 prize pool on the line.

As we reported on earlier this week, QuakeCon 2018 registration has been delayed as the team works on a "smoother process for registration." The organizers have provided some details on how much BYOC registration will cost as well as information about the different tiers.

The last major announcement is the return of the QuakeCon SWAG bag. This limited edition swag bag includes a set of three exclusive pins, a QuakeCon water bottle, an oversized QuakeCon mousepad, a QuakeCon air freshener, a QuakeCon luggage tag, and a 36-inch inflatable Rocket Launcher from Quake Champions. Everyone with a BYOC ticket will also receive a limited edition QuakeCon 2018 pin.

That sums up todays QuakeCon 2018 update. We are looking forward to the BYOC registration announcement and will update Shackers when they are able to do it for Shacknews on the QuakeCon showfloor.
