Final Fantasy 7 Remake Job Listing Claims It Will Eventually 'Surpass Original'

According to a new job listing for Square Enix Japan the FF7 remake has some great expectations.

It feels like it's been forever and a day since the remake of Final Fantasy 7 was announced back in 2015, but Square Enix has been hard at work this whole time on bringing it to fruition. It would appear that there's still plenty of work to do be done though as Square Enix Japan recently posted a new job listing for new battle and level planners for the upcoming title. The job description for the new positions does not pull any punches when it comes to the impact that the work will have either.

According to a translation of the Japanese wanted ad by Gematsu this version of FF7 is a new creation not just a "remake", but rather a new "creation" and that the job will have an impact on the world at large:

There's still no word on when exactly this new creation will be coming to PS4's around the world, but players with a background battle or level planning are encouraged to apply for the new job positions and maybe help expedite the process of getting this new Final Fantasy 7 launched.
