First things first: Fortnite Battle Royale's 50v50 limited time event is finally live after a bit of a delay. Fortnite's v3.5.2 patch brings with it a few other goodies as well, including a light machine gun and a new Save The World questline. One PvE event makes its valiant return as well. Check out all the details below.

50v50 is bigger and better with two buses dropped off the two massive teams in this Battle Royale limited time event and it starts today, April 19, so jump in before time runs out. There's also a double XP event starting today and it lasts until April 22. If you think the amount of adversaries across from you is overwhelming, no worries; you'll be able to pin down squads with the new light machine gun and its 100 round magazine.  Get familiar with the Fortnite replay tool so you can share that sweet footage.

For the PvE enthusiasts, Into The Storm returns to Save The World. This time around, completion will net you one of the two new neon characters revealed in the last Fortnite patch and you can work through the events with a new neon light machine gun as well. From today until April 22, players will earn an Into The Storm llama each day they log in.

Head on over to the official Fortnite website to see the full patch notes for Fortnite v3.5.2 and stay tuned for more updates.
