On the lighter side of gaming news, former Halo pro and current Twitch streamer Tyler "Ninja" Blevins continues to see his popularity on the platform explode. But Wednesday night might be his biggest night yet, not because he's spending another night playing Fortnite, but who he's playing Fortnite with.

Seemingly out of the blue, rapper Drake has decided to get in on the Fortnite phenomenon. He's currently playing with Ninja at the time of this post and they're doing pretty well. They've racked up a couple of Victory Royales already and appear to be crushing the competition.

Anyone who needs some evening viewing can check out the Ninja stream below. We'll be sure to update this post with the archive whenever the stream is over. (Update: The stream is embedded below and we've skipped ahead to where Drake joins the session.)

For those unfamiliar with Ninja, he is recently celebrating a Twitch milestone. Over the weekend, he hit the 100,000 subscriber mark, becoming the first streamer to reach such a sub count. In fact, nobody had even reached 50,000, but Ninja had done so just a week earlier. Yes, he's doubled his audience in a week and with this sudden play session with Drake, his subscriber count is likely to continue climbing.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
