Assassin's Creed Origins seems to just keep knocking them out of the park when it comes to content. After breathing fresh life into the long-running franchise, it's ready to take on the dead in its second round of DLC, Curse Of The Pharaohs. The DLC will find players once again taking on the role of Bayek as he travels to the capital city of Thebes to investigate a mysterious plague that has spread across the land.

Ubisoft's press release announcing the new content seems to imply that Bayek will face off against undead Pharaohs and more Gods in the latest content:

"The Curse of the Pharaohs immerses players in Egyptian mythology, challenging them to battle famous pharaohs and mystical beasts as they investigate the temples of Karnak and Luxor and the secret tombs of the Valley of the Kings to uncover the cause of the curse that has brought dead pharaohs back to life."

If the trailer is to be believed it looks like Curse of the Pharaohs will also involve at least one giant scorpion, a bird with a human head, and an object of importance that should be familiar to long-time AC fans.

Along with a new storyline, players will get a new level cap of 55, new levels for crafting, resources, and a few new abilities. There's also new outfits and high level rare and legendary weapons all themed around Egyptian mythology.

Assassin's Creed Origins is available now on PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Curse of the Pharaohs DLC will be available tomorrow on March 13.
