As any good Saiyan knows, the only way to truly grow stronger is to keep challenging yourself with tougher opponents. It would appear the producer of Dragon Ball FighterZ, Tomoko Hiroki, has taken this sentiment to heart and will be entering EVO 2018 as a competitor. This is an obvious and blatant attempt by Hiroki-San to raise her power level over 9,000 by taking on the best DBFZ players in the world.

Dragon Ball FighterZ will be making its first appearance at EVO, beating out Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite among others for a spot in the Sunday Finals. FighterZ joins an impressive group of titles on this year's roster including Super Smash Bros. Melee, sophmore title Injustice 2, and the unreleased BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle.

According to IGN, Hiroki informed fans of her decision to compete in the Dragon Ball FighterZ EVO announcement video: "Practice a lot! Because I will enter the tournament."

Fighting fans will get a chance to see Tomoko Hiroki unlock her hidden potential live from the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino in Las Vegas at EVO 2018 August 3-5.
