Ventured outside momentarily to check out the Charlies Angels movie. I dont know how else to put this but that I was blown away. The movie was damn good. Cool action, hot chicks, stuff blowing up, comedy, its all in there. These guys took what was admittedly a very hokey concept and turned it into one of the best movies I've seen all year. I was expecting painfully corny jokes and some substandard chicks trying to look athletic stunts. It was just good stuff though, worth seeing twice and buy the DVD when it comes out. I never realized Drew Barrymore had nice boobies before tonight. I like boobies.

    I saw Charlie's Angels last night and thought the movie was pretty crappy. The plot was bad of course, and every fight scene was pulled directly out of The Matrix. It was that mostly, all the scenes made me think "man, these guys just can't think of their own material" and it distracted me enough that I didn't laugh at the corny jokes (which weren't that funny anyway). They even ripped the bulled SFX from Matrix. I usually love Tom Green but in this movie he just wasn't funny IMO.

    The boobies were good of course, that was pretty much the thing that made it not really suck.

    My girlfriend really liked it though, she laughed a lot. It's kind of a "girl power" flic I guess.

    SEXNINJA!!!!'s Movie Review:]u Charlie's Angels

    OK, saw Charlie's Angels tonight, here's my spoiler-free review:

    This movie grabs you in the first five minutes and doesn't let go. The movie in general is very stylish, and well polished. The plot isn't really anything super-spectacular or anything we haven't seen in some fashion or another, but it isn't a cookie-cutter type plot either -- the plot in itself, thought somewhat kinda standard, is pretty good. Without giving too-much away, There is an evil plot out to take over a bunch of satalites that would enable this evil coroporation to identify anyone in the world by thier voice, and the Angels must stop them There's actually quite a lot more to it but I dont want to give anything away). The action sequences in this movie are very impressive. There's some Matrix-esque type sequences but they are done in a way that makes it all mesh well with the movie, unlike Romeo Must Die or Mission: Impossible 2 where the action sequences, while good, just don't at times seem to fit quite well, almost as if they are trying too hard (IMO). This isn't the case with Charlie's Angels -- these chicks are super bad-asses from the get-go, and all the while it just seems right.

    The music in this movie is also done very well, and sets the mood perfectly. Hell, they even managed to get an old Motley Crue song in there and make it fit :p. This movie doesn't have one of those soundtrack's that are put together just to sell soundtrack cd's, it has a soundtrack that fits the movie, which is somthing that seems to be missing from Hollywood quite a lot lately.

    I also must state the obvious and say that Cameron Diaz is HOT. This movie does not prove my theory wrong. Moreover, for no sex0r scenes, she shows more cleavage in this movie than any movie i have ever seen. The guys who made this movie are very aware that their three actresses are fscking hot, and make it a point to let you know that they are. This is A Good ThingTM :p. And, as we all know, Bill Murray is a pimp. And in this movie he is no exception. He adds a very comedic element to the movie (of which there is quite a lot) with out gaying it up. Tom Green has a small roll and delivers some laughs as well. Another Good ThingTM. The bad guy caracters are also quite good, with Tim Curry leading the charge. Crispin Glover's character has this blank evil look to him that fits so well, its scarry.

    In short, i guess you can say that its like The Matrix with cleavege...and with out all that sci-fi stuff...ok maybe not really...but you get the idea ;)

    I can easily say that it is one of, if not the coolest movie's I have seen all year. I'm definately picking this one up when it's out on DVD.

    Mad style, hot chicks, bad ass action sequences, music that fits well, and a very good sense of humor is what this movie is all about, and I give it 4 out of 5 uNF*'s.

    Here's my short review (since most of what I wanted to say has been said):

    1: Cameron Diaz is hot - I knew this already, but it's good to be confirmed.
    2: Drew Barrymore is hot - I didn't like her before as much as I did after.
    3: Lucy Liu is hot - Okay, I guess I didn't like her because of Ally McBeal, but now I've changed my mind.
    4: All three of them are great actors.
    5: Matt LeBlanc has some redeeming qualities.
    6: Bill Murray, once again, is damn hilarious.
    7: The woman who played Vivian should have had a better part, she was quite good.
    8: Oh yeah, I want an mpeg of Cameron Diaz's dance scene.
    9: Crispin Glover had better not show up as a bad guy in any other movies, he'd just ruin the magic. At first I thought he was over-acting, but as the movie progressed I realized how great he was at over-acting the part.
    10: Thought I'd have ten, didn't ya? :)
