Some seasonal gold and battle stars are up for grabs as a way to make up for issues stemming from the latest patch.

There are a few constants across genres with a large online presence. Patches and downtime are a couple of those and, while Fortnite hasn't developed a pattern of unwarranted downtime, the developers are attempting to curb any ill will early on by making good on issues with the most recent patch.

Fortnite V2.3.0 has experienced a few issues and, in a forum post, the Fortnite team laid out the goodies they're offering up to make good on things. The details for the rewards are below:

Save the World:

  • 1600 Season Gold to be used in the Event store

Battle Royale

  • 20 Battle Stars to be used for Battle Pass progression

PUBG and Fortnite Battle Royale are the popular faces of the competitive survival shooter genre and, if this were a race, the devs behind both teams are doing all they can to stay ahead of the pack. Epic Games established open communication for Fortnite early on and PUBG Corp is working to improve transparency as they work to fix issues plaguing their shooter as well. If you're a Fortnite Battle Royale player, make sure you jump into the Sniper Shootout event while it lasts.
