A teenager in California was elected Homecoming King as is to be expected at the homecoming football game. However Patrick Griffith refused the honor. Intending to make a statement against the 'popularity contests' that are being sanctioned by schools around the nation. Here comes the shocker:
Griffiths was suspended from the Manhattan Beach school after he declined the king's crown at Friday's homecoming football game.Why is this here? Because its interesting. :)

While I love this website, i am spending too fucking much time here, to the point where my schoolwork, my life, and my relationship with armiebrat (my girlfriend, who posts here) are suffering. Today was the last straw. I am formally retiring the nick "poke" as of today from shugashack. You may see me playing RA3 every couple of nights or so, i have seen a few shackers online, but I will no longer post anymore. To help with this i'm going to change my password to some random jumble of letters, and I don't use the same e-mail address anymore. Consider poke dead.
Don't worry guys, i'll be around every once in a while to see what's going on, but you won't see me. gl with your lives and with everything you try to do, gl to steve to keep the website going. Later.

Probably time to think about good game content instead of hits for shack and UGO. With up to 4 people posting news here at a given time. That is the best you guys can come up with? Not to mention that a new look is well over do too. How many times can you tweak the comments section and ignore the ugly look?
The shacks effort to hits ratio is crazy, especially when you compare it to a all around game site like VE.

Immediately after the d/l finishes, the WHOLE MULTIMILLION DOLLAR network shuts down (thats 8 elementary schools, middle school, jr high school, high school, board of ed. building).
I get 2days OSS and I'm not allowed to touch computers for the rest of the year. I worked out a deal though that I'd do the work for the class at home and hand it in. I ended up getting a 1st period study, A+ in the class, and I shut down the whole fucking network!
Stupid sys admin setup the network to shutdown on virus detection, to prevent spreading. hah!
Oh yah, excuse I gave: I need to check my e-mail from home, so I needed the netbus client to get to my computer, idiots...

I was born in France as some of you may know. Well the place where I live had some kind of "gang". There were 4 people who seem to enjoy kicking my ass and destroying my bike. They will try to enbush me and bug the hell of me. Even through I had learn martial art, I didn't want to hurt them and I feel anyhow too weak. Today I know I would have kill them. I am really heartless now and if I met someone like that again, he will die I swear on anything you want.
The second and third POS I had in school was in the California University named San Jose State University. That day, I asked for a shoolarship but they denie it because my dad earn too much money and my GPA were too low... This is soo fucking weird because I have a GPA of 3.4 and my dad earn about 20k a year, 10k goes straight in my titution.
The third POS they gave me was to pay for the dorm. They ask me to go from the dorm to the cashier(All the way at the opposite of the university) to pay my fee. When I got there, the cashier told me it was a mistake and send me back... they did that 4 times! And each time I had to wait in line!!!
Just for your knowledge if you are still in school, and in particular in SJSU. SJSU SUCKS EXCEPT IN CS AND BUSINESS!! ENG(my major) truly sucks!! ou are really wasting your time and will learn almost nothing usefull if you are in Computer Engineering. You learn much more by quitting your school than keep on learning there. Notice how bright are Larry Elison and Bill Gates: They left school and never got their degree. Instead they became rich. FUCK SCHOOL!!

From 9th - 12th, the same group of guys would always fight me in pe and athletics..
Anyways, to make a long story short.. 1st semester of my senior year, the first time I ever did anything back.. I headbutted the loudmouth of the bunch, and completely broke the bridge of his nose. He had the two worst black eyes anyone's ever seen for about 2 weeks, and like a hockey mask like bandage on it.
Moral is, fight back once and make it big.. Don't wait 6-7 years to do it though.
Else you'll end up all deformed like me. :)

I had a 1st period exit, so I didn't have to show up until like 10:20. I have Sports Developement 2nd period every quarter, so I showed up late everyday, and started off with weight lifting or team handball etc. Then we had lunch, then I was a Teachers Assitant for my Javelin coach, for 3rd period (he didn't have a class that period either), and 4th period I had economics, my only real class for the day.
Of course there were days that we're pretty shitty, but overall I liked high school. I was a State Champion Javelin Thrower, I met my girlfriend near the end of the year. The only thing that kinda sucks, is that my good friends have left (Army).

I hated those people that would rebel for the sake of rebelling. I remember nerds from 6th grade, that all of a sudden in 7th grade they became skaters. I didn't like people with the "processed" personality. The goth people were pretty freaky, but I didn't really have any problem with them cause they never really interacted with anyone else. The show-offs and loud mouths bothered me, cause they were just begging for attention and would totally whore themselves just to get a smirk.
but yeah, back to the homecoming thing. I say who cares what homecoming is based on, if someone is upset because they didn't make court or whatever, so what? I never put much stock into that stuff. We had a fairly diverse court, but I think a brother and sister won, because everyone thought it would be funny. Homecoming queen, king didn't really mean much to anyone, cept for a gloat here and there, but when all was said and done, no one cared. People put more stock in talents (be it athletic ability, academic, etc.). but yeah there were those people who judged people based upon their money (cars, clothes, etc.) but my friends and I often just woke up and came to school, with bed hair, and what not. We just liked hanging out.
