Dragon Ball FighterZ - How to Summon the Dragon Shenron

You can summon Shenron the dragon just like in the Dragon Ball Super anime in Dragon Ball FighterZ with the seven Dragon Balls. Here's how to put it all together.

Dragon Ball FighterZ lets you do plenty of familiar things from the anime series, from Dragon Ball to Dragon Ball Super. Along with playing as your favorite characters, you can even use the Dragon Balls in-game to summon Shenron, the Eternal Dragon. Shenron has the power to grant any wish in the anime and manga series, of course, but Shenron is a lot more limited in Dragon Ball FighterZ. He still has several useful abilities he can grant you, however, so you're definitely going to want to try and collect Dragon Balls during play for some decent bonuses. Here's how you can go about it, and you don't even need a Dragon Radar to collect them!

How to Collect Dragon Balls and Summon Shenron

You don't "collect" Dragon Balls in Dragon Ball FighterZ so much as you earn them during battle. You need to pull off specific combos in order to get them. For instance, a 10+ hit combo will get you a 1-star Dragon Ball. A 20+ hit combo will get you a 2-star Dragon Ball. A 30+ hit combo will get you a 3-star Dragon Ball, and so on. If you use a Light Attack combo you will be awarded random Dragon Balls. You can earn them in any order, but when you collect the final Dragon Ball, you'll be able to summon Shenron.

First, you need to make sure you have seven bars of super meter available to burn. Without it, you cannot summon Shenron. If you do, pull off a Light Attack combo and you'll bring the dragon out. It's an impressive display, and one that you won't soon forget. Shenron will grant you one of four different wishes. You can choose Restore My Health, which will bring the character you're currently using back to full health. You can pick Bring Back My Ally, which will revive a fallen team member with 50 percent health. Choose Give Me Ultimate Power to boost your Ki to the maximum 7 bars. Finally, pick Make Me Immortal to restore 5 percent of your health and obtain auto-restoration of your super meter.

Shenron has plenty of awesome abilities that you can choose from, so make sure you make your summon count!
