Android 21 is an exciting new character making her debut in Dragon Ball FighterZ, and she's an awesome addition to the cast. She was created especially for the game by Dragon Ball Z creator Akira Toriyama himself, and as such she's a special addition. You can't play as her as soon as you start up the game, and she must instead be unlocked. You'll be glad you went to the trouble though, because she's a powerhouse of a character that you'll love to destroy your opponents with.
When you get started playing Dragon Ball FighterZ, you'll notice that Android 21 isn't on the regular roster. You need to unlock her before you can wipe the floor with your opponents outside of Story Mode. We'll give you all the knowledge you need to play with the saucy new character in Dragon Ball FighterZ as quickly as Goku can teleport with Instant Transmission.
How to Unlock Android 21
To unlock Android 21, all you need to do is complete the game's main Story Mode. This means you need to also complete Android 21's arc in Story Mode, which is the very last one left in the game's rotation. This means you can simply progress through the game and finish it on the default difficulty setting. After you complete Story Mode, you'll unlock both a harder difficulty and Android 21.
You begin the game with the Super Warrior arc, then pass on to the Enemy Warrior arc from there. After that, you will unlock the Android 21 arc. That's the sweet spot and the arc you must make sure you finish before Android 21 is all yours.
Story Mode lasts about ten hours depending on your skill level, but you can cut down on a bit of time if you fly through all the fights as a seasoned fighter or decide to skip all the expository sequences and cut scenes.
Once you've done all that, congratulations! You've unlocked the fiery Android 21. Now make your enemies pay. Check out Android 21 in action in the Dragon Ball FighterZ trailer below.
