Dragon Ball FighterZ Open Beta Extension Starts Tonight

Because of some access issues during the beta weekend, Bandai Namco is opening up the game for another 24 hours.

We reported on Sunday that the Dragon Ball FighterZ open beta may be extended due to technical issues and we've got some good news on that front. Anyone wanted to help stress test the servers, try out some characters, and get the game ready for launch later in the month will have 24 hours to do so starting tonight, January 17.

The bonus day of the open beta will start at 9 PM PST tonight and run until 9 PM PST on January 18. Hopefully, the issues from the weekend will be resolved but, lest you forget, issues like that are exactly why alpha and beta testing happen. If these issues were happening at launch, the conversation would be very different.

The beta is available to Xbox and PS4 users. Dragon Ball FighterZ launches for those platforms and on PC on January 26.
