If you missed out on the first beta, all is not lost. Before launch, players will get another chance to help the devs with tests during an open beta for Dragon Ball FighterZ that begins on January 14. It'll run from 12 A.M. PT on that day until the same time on January 16.

As revealed on Gamespot, those that pre-ordered certain versions of the game will have access to the beta a bit early. Digital and physical collector's edition preorders get access on January 13. There are no details on which of the 20+ announced characters will be available, but this particular beta is open unlike the last. The developers will get a solid look at server stress as plenty of players will likely jump in during this two to three day period of play.

The Character Pass for Dragon Ball FighterZ was revealed back in October and will serve as a cheaper way to lock in future revealed characters once the game launches, but Bandai Namco and Arc System Works weren't even done showing off the characters that will be available at launch. The game will give players a look into some original story content creating for Dragon Ball FighterZ, but you'll also be able to recreate some of the most iconic moments in Dragon Ball Z and Dragon Ball Super. The new trailer from Jump Fiesta gives a glimpse at all of those moments, including the DBS moments featuring Goku Black, Hit, and Beerus.
