Sakura is the First Character in Street Fighter 5: Season 3

And you won't have to wait to see who else will comprise Street Fighter V's Season 3 Character Pass.

Following tonight's Capcom Cup 2017 Grand Finals, there was still some business that Capcom needed to address. That's regarding Street Fighter V's future and that future includes new characters. And guess what? Sakura's back!

The long-time favorite from the Street Fighter Alpha series showed off both of her new V-Trigger moves, as part of the upcoming Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition feature set. Her Critical Art fired off her own fireball and sent her opponent flying through the air.

Sakura is the first character to be featured as part of the Season 3 Character Pass. Five more characters will be introduced over the course of 2018. Sakura will come to Street Fighter V on January 16, the same day that Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition arrives.

But that's not all! Yoshinori Ono also showed off a second video that centered around Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition. All of the Season 3 characters were confirmed in this video and they include Blanka, Sagat, G, Falke, and Cody.
