The Game Awards presented by host Geoff Keighley airs tonight at 8:30 pm ET / 5:30 pm PT. You can watch the event via the embedded video below, a livestream on the Game Awards' official YouTube channel, or on Twitch. Facebook Live, Microsoft's Mixer, PlayStation Network, and Xbox Live will also stream the ceremony and all announcements.

This year's Game Awards celebrates a landmark 2017, which saw Nintendo launch the Switch, its most successful console since the Wii in 2006, and a stellar lineup of games nominated across all platforms. Over a dozen categories will pay respect to many of those games as well as developers and players. Categories include Best eSports Game, Most Anticipated Game (for 2018 and beyond), Best Multiplayer, Best Fighting Game, Best Strategy Game, Best eSports Team, Trending Gamer, and the vaunted Game of the Year.

Game of the Year is particularly stacked: Super Mario Odyssey, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Horizon: Zero Dawn, PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds (PUBG), and Persona 5 will compete for top honors.

Tune in later tonight and chat with us in the Chatty comments to share your thoughts on announcements, award winners, and more during the Game Awards.
