Destiny 2 - All Lost Sectors

Destiny 2 introduces a few new activities for players to enjoy, one of which is Lost Sectors. These dungeon-like areas offer a mass of enemies, a small boss fight, and a loot chest at the very end. Lost Sectors are also often featured as a planetary Challenge, but if you’ve already completed them, they can be tough to spot on the map.

All Destiny 2 Lost Sectors

Below is a list of all Lost Sectors in Destiny 2, sorted into Patrol zones and their specific sections.

EDZ Lost Sectors

The European Dead Zone, or EDZ, offers the largest playable area and the most zones with Lost Sectors. The stitched-together map above should give you a good indication of where all the EDZ Lost Sectors are located.

Trostland –There are three Lost Sectors in Trostland, the starting area of the EDZ and where you speak with Devrim. One Lost Sector can be found in the church, while the other two flank the church.

Outskirts – Outskirts is the largest area in the EDZ that contains three Lost Sectors. One Lost Sector can be found to the south of the Public Event location below a bridge. The second Lost Sector in Outskirts is down by the water’s edge, right next to the previous Lost Sector. The final Lost Sector is on the west side of the area up in the trees.

Winding Cove – The Winding Cove Lost Sector is located directly in front of the Fast Travel point.

Firebase Hades – Firebase Hades has three Lost Sectors, one can be found below the ramps leading up into the base, and the other two are up in the cliffs on the east side of the map.

The Gulch – The Gulch’s Lost Sector is to the south below the broken highway.

The Sludge – The Sludge has three Lost Sectors, one to the left of the Fast Travel point, one in a building in the middle of the map that can be accessed through a blue and white shipping container, and another in the north near a large rock and stream.

Sunken Isles – The Sunken Isles contains two Lost Sectors, the first of which is found by using the Fast Travel point and walking toward the large rock formation with the lights in front of you. Follow the rock around its perimeter to find the entrance to the Lost Sector. The second Lost Sector in the Sunken Isles in the EDZ is found beneath the large ship in a tunnel.

Titan Lost Sectors

There are only three Lost Sectors on Titan, with one Lost Sector in the Siren’s Watch and two in The Rig. Due to the multi-level structure of the Titan Patrol space, these can be a bit troublesome to find.

Siren’s Watch – From the Fast Travel point near Sloane, turn left to face the Arcology, jump down to the closest platform, making sure to land on its lower boardwalk that wraps around its side. The entrance to the Lost Sector is through a circular door.

The Rig – The first Lost Sector in The Rig can be found by using the Fast Travel point and running to the left toward the Orange “Bay 3” section. Instead of jumping up to the higher levels, walk to the railing and look over the edge, the Lost Sector is down on the lower level.

The second Lost Sector on The Rig is found near the Wizard Heroic Public Event. Head in to the Public Event area. Cut across the room, and continue through the corridors, making sure not to go outside. You’ll see the Lost Sector sign on the wall near stairs heading toward a red door.

Nessus Lost Sectors

Nessus is of a size and complexity similar to the EDZ mixed with Titan, this makes it difficult to locate the Lost Sectors on Nessus. At the moment, there are only five areas that contain Lost Sectors, with only one Lost Sector each.

Artifact’s Edge – The Lost Sector in Artifact’s Edge can be found by jumping from the Fast Travel point, down to the left where the Vex spawn. However, you will need to jump down toward the water to locate the Lost Sector.

Exodus Black – The Exodus Black Lost Sector is directly across from the Fast Travel location. Look for the hole in the wall.

Glade of Echoes – This area is often only seen when running the Exodus Crash Strike, but the Glade of Echoes has a Lost Sector. To find this Lost Sector, head into the middle of the area and search below the rubble for a tunnel leading down into the ground.

The Cistern – The Cistern’s Lost Sector is under the large tree, look for the entrance to this Nessus Lost Sector beside the waterfall.

The Tangle – To find the Lost Sector in The Tangle, head to the right of the Well of Dust and look for the cave in the wall by the tree covered in red fungus.

Io Lost Sectors

There are only three Lost Sectors on Io, and all of them are easy to find due to the fairly flat nature of the Patrol zone.

The Rupture – One of the Lost Sectors in The Rupture area on Io can be found directly across from Asher Mir in a cave. The second Lost Sector in this area is toward the south. Look for the large tree growing over the top of the cliff, below this is a cave leading to the Lost Sector.

Lost Oasis – The only other Lost Sector on Io is in the Lost Oasis. From the Fast Travel spawn point, turn left and follow the cliff along until you find a cave in the wall.

Though there is currently no reward or tracker for the amount of Lost Sectors you find and complete, you do earn an emblem for the first Lost Sector you finish on each planet. Similarly, Lost Sectors are often required if you want to complete the Challenges on all the Patrol zones to earn more tokens.
