Spider-Man Paris Games Week Trailer Gets 'Negative'

The newest trailer for Spider-Man on PlayStation 4 is heavy on villains, including Mr. Negative, Wilson Fisk, and Mayor (!) Norman Osborn.

Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man swung into Paris Games Week 2017 for his new game's longest trailer yet.

This trailer shows off more of Peter Parker and his old Parker luck, but it also shows much more of the story. While Peter is down on his luck, he starts working for the FEAST shelter with Martin Li. But comic readers know him better as villain and the game's main antagonist, Mr. Negative. Viewers also got to see Mayor Norman Osborn (with no sign of his Green Goblin persona yet), as well as "Kingpin" Wilson Fisk being taken into custody.

No other new concrete info was given, however. Look for Spider-Man to swing onto PS4 in 2018.

Ozzie has been playing video games since picking up his first NES controller at age 5. He has been into games ever since, only briefly stepping away during his college years. But he was pulled back in after spending years in QA circles for both THQ and Activision, mostly spending time helping to push forward the Guitar Hero series at its peak. Ozzie has become a big fan of platformers, puzzle games, shooters, and RPGs, just to name a few genres, but he’s also a huge sucker for anything with a good, compelling narrative behind it. Because what are video games if you can't enjoy a good story with a fresh Cherry Coke?
