Announced during the Oculus Connect keynote, the price for the Rift bundled with the Oculus Touch has been dropped $100 to $399. This move goes hand in hand with the goal to get VR into the hands of 1 billion people, an initiative revealed right before the announcement of the standalone $199 Oculus Go.

The Oculus team also revealed a new, streamlined hub for their hardware called Oculus Dash. The application provides a smooth interface for players to navigate their software. The most groundbreaking feature in Dash, though, is the ability to seamlessly use desktop applications as virtual displays within your headset. This allows users to spend more time in the virtual space without having to remove the headset to use other crucial applications. Oculus Dash will debut on Rift.
