Okami HD Brings Its Wonderful Art To PC

A Steam page has revealed the release date for the high-definition PC release of Okami.

Okami HD release dates for Xbox One and PS4 were leaked by European retailers earlier this year. The Ready at Dawn developed action-adventure has enjoyed an extended life since its original release on PS2 in 2006, having been ported to Wii and updated for PS3. Now, a Steam page reveals that it will also be coming to PC in HD on December 12.

The Steam page reveals that Okami HD will be coming to the US/Europe first and arrive in Japan on December 13. The updated release will include a modern widescreen format and the original 4:3 ratio.

The original Okami was heralded for incredible visuals, completely outshining its peers on PS2 at the time. It adopted a design that looked like a classic Japanese painting come to life and not many games have been able to exhibit such incredible style and charm since.
