Paragon Founders Can Try Out Fortnite's PUBG Inspired Mode For Free

Check your emails, Paragon players, as Epic is reaching out to players of their MOBA to give them an opportunity to test out Fornite's PUBG inspired mode.

Paragon, Epic's visually impressive entry into the MOBA craze, launched last year with a founder's program that gave early access players a chance to help build the game while receiving a collection of rewards. Those founders can now get a taste of another of Epic's early access titles as, via email, Epic Games has reached out to Paragon founders to give them free access to Fortnite's new Battle Royale mode.

The above email went out today inviting me to check out the recently revealed Battle Royale mode that mixes Fortnite's building mechanics with the last-man-standing gameplay made incredibly popular by PlayerUnknown's Battlegrounds.

After "mistakenly" allowing cross-play with Xbox One and PS4 users, it looks like Epic is going with a more organic way to grow their player-base by reaching over the aisle to players who may be currently invested in another of their titles and looking for something fresh. I'm personally already playing Fortnite, but this could inspire some new faces to join the battle to be the last player standing.
