TGS 2017: Left Alive is the Next Project From Final Fantasy 15 Producer

Square Enix brought a surprise to PlayStation's Tokyo Game Show press conference, announcing a collaboration between its Final Fantasy brand manager, the artist for Metal Gear, and the producer of Armored Core.

During Tuesday morning's PlayStation press conference at Tokyo Game Show, Square Enix briefly unveiled a new project that looks to take place on a post-apocalyptic world. But while there don't seem to be a lot of details on what exactly Left Alive is, there does appear to be some top-level talent involved.

The trailer simply panned down a hotel room before a wall exploded and the camera panned over to a devastated land. Here's where it was revealed that Shinji Hashimoto (Final Fantasy XV, Final Fantasy IX, Kingdom Hearts) was attached as producer, with Metal Gear artist Yoji Shinkawa providing character art and Toshifumi Nabeshima (Armored Core) working as director.

Little else was offered, other than Left Alive would be coming soon to PlayStation 4 and Windows PC. For more, check out the teaser below.
