There’s nothing quite like PC games made in eastern Europe or Russia. Each of them has a certain indescribable vibe that permeates the entire experience. The Stalker series, Serious Sam, and Mount & Blade are a few of the standout offerings from the land of vodka and chartreuse hues. One of my favorites is the 2014 cult hit, Spintires. After selling more than a million copies on Steam, the brutal, unforgiving log transport simulator is getting a sequel this fall.
Spintires: Mudrunner is the ultimate version of the original idea. Featuring all new maps, objectives, and an assortment of Russian trucks, Mudrunner will bring the fun to consoles for the first time. Announced one month ago by new publisher Focus Home Interactive, Spintires: Mudrunner will also get bogged down on the PC, with owners on the original game getting a discount of more than 50 percent via the game’s Steam store page.
Today, Focus Home Interactive announced that Spintires: Mudrunner will release on all platforms October 31. An all-new trailer has been released to go along with the announcement, showing off some of the new vehicles and maps. You can check it out below.
