A wintery kingdom, seaside paradise, and new gameplay mechanics were just some of the treats Nintendo shared during the Super Mario Odyssey portion of its Direct livestream. The game remains slated for October 27 exclusively for Nintendo Switch, and will launch alongside three wedding-themed Mario Amiibos.

If you haven't made the switch to Switch yet, Nintendo announced a Switch hardware bundle that will include the console, Joy-Con, and Super Mario Odyssey.

Mario, Assassins Creed Origins and Wolfenstein on the same day, Destiny 2 PC 3 days earlier.

I agree its insane and seems impossible on the Switch. The devs that Nintendo has and their first party crews are all truly talented. Can you imagine what they could do on mid to high end PC hardware!!!!??

You want your mind blown.... SMO is made on low speed 3 CPU cores(4th is not for game use), 3.5gigs of shared memory(app + GPU resources/load), and a sub par 970 GPU spec!

It is amazing hey :) , my mind is blown.

I also think both Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and Project Octopath Traveler are super sexy, I need them inside of me.

          Yeah man SMO is nuts.

Its not just Nintendo who's doing it. Consider that the Switch is about 3x as powerful as the PS3 and 360, then look at ports like Skyrim (definitively better than on those systems), Doom 2016, and then remember think that the 360 ran Rise Of The Tomb Raider and GTA 5. Its a lot more capable than people realize.

No, it'll never be as powerful as a PC or PS4, but it doesn't have to be either since its also a handheld.

Its the only real "next gen" hardware IMHO, it does something no other console hardware or my PC is physically capable of.
