Before European PS Plus Price Hike, Get Extra Months At A Lower Cost
Players in European regions can get 15 months for the same price as a pre-price-hike yearly subscription.
In late July, we reported that the price for PlayStation Plus will be going up for players in Europe. North America experienced a similar jump from $59.99 to $69.99 and the company has offered no specific explanation for these changes, but European players do have a chance to save a few bucks before the price change.
As reported by Gamespot, a 15-month subscription to PlayStation Plus in Europe is currently available at the unchanged price that you’d normally pay for a 12-month sub. Thus, Sony is giving European players an opportunity to get ahead of the game with a solid discount by buying at £39.99 / €49.99 before it jumps up to £49.99 / €59.99.
Sony sent out a mass email previously detailing a 25% price hike for the yearly subscription. In addition, three-month subscriptions are up to £19.99/€24.99 and monthly subs are up to £6.99/€7.99. The price change goes into effect on August 31st, so jump on this as soon as possible to save a few bucks you could put toward some upcoming releases.
