Netflix has been great at reviving old TV shows and creating original content, but today we have the pleasure of them bring a beloved video game franchise back to life. Netflix Original Castlevania is now available exclusively on the video streaming service. The Konami franchise has seen better days on video game, but early reviews are very positive for the show and have people already talking about Castlevania Season 2. Check out the trailer for the show.

It is great that Neflix is reviving old video game franchises, and we can't wait to see what else they have in store.

It's only 100 minutes for the whole series so I guess I'll keep going but like by the 6 minute mark I was ok they burned his wife that's why he's bad(er) and then they string that entire concept out for 25 minutes.

If anyone watches this and is disappointed, I encourage you to instead watch the Voltron reboot on Netflix. It's awesome!

I thought that was genuinely terrible. To each his own, I guess.

Both seasons start slow and are a bit awkward but really ramp up the last 1/3 or so.

I had it on in the background this morning. Seemed alright. It's basically the length of a movie.

Update: 2nd episode is MILES better than the first. This is good stuff. Focusing on Trevor in the 1st episode would have been a better start

I liked it but it's way too short at under 100 minutes total. Hope it's not an entire year until next season.

Animation quality is pretty good, story & character quality is pretty lame.

Dracula starts off as bored evil and becomes a good guy off camera.

And then he's super evil again but for a righteous cause.

A character that we just barely got introduced to is killed off, and we're supposed to feel some sort of emotional attachment to that character?

The evil church guy is a generic evil church guy with stupid beliefs.

Our Belmont hero is lame. "I don't care about people, but I need to save people anyway, because I'm good guy at heart and all my comments otherwise are just me being a self pitying sack of shit. "

      And the seekers? Bleh.
