Virtual reality continues to get its share of intriguing games, this time with Transference, a psychological thriller that lets players experience the memories and secrets of a man's obsession leading him down a destructive path.

The Ubisoft title is being developed in conjunction with SpectreVision and tries to "bridge the gap between movies and games." It also stars Elijah Wood.

The official description says players will use techno-psychology to "escape a maze-like puzzle concealing a corrupted truth. Get projected into the digital consciousness of troubled case subjects."

Transference will be available some time in spring 2018 for PlayStation VR, Oculus Rift and HTC Vive for PS4, Xbox One and PC.
