The highly anticipated Middle-earth: Shadow of War finally has a release date. The game will be coming out on October 10, and will be optimized for Xbox One X.

We got a look at some extended gameplay for the Shadow of Mordor sequel, although it looked a lot like the announcement gameplay with Talion recruiting more followers so that he has the right troop makeup to assault another overlord's fortress.

There weren't too many other details, and a gameplay trailer wasn't immediately released, so you'll have to satisfy your curiosity with this story video released late last week.
