Life is Strange fans, take notice! If you were disappointed you didn't get much of a chance to interact with Chloe in the first few episodes of the game, rejoice! Life is Strange: Before the Storm is coming, offering three new episodes to attempt to bridge the tales together so you can see what happened to both Rachel and Chloe before the events that went down in Arcadia Bay in the original five episodes.
This entry in the Life is Strange franchise isn't being developed by Dontnod this time around, with Deck Nine Games taking up development responsibilities instead. Hopefully the same attitude and personality shown within the first game, the same that shined through in the latter parts of the game's story, will be showcased rather than the cringy dialogue from the introductory chapters. Ashly Burch will not be reprising her role as Chloe Price, instead having swapped roles to join the writing team in Before the Storm, so this could certainly be a pain point that may be alleviated.
Life is Strange: Before the Storm releases its first episode this August.

Looks to be a 3 episode prequel. I'm down! Playing the first one now with my wife. Cant wait to try this one too.
