Sony surprised everyone at last year's E3 when they revealed that Insomniac, the developers behind Sunset Overdrive and the Rachet & Clank series are working on a new Spider-Man game. Other than the brief cinematic trailer, Sony and Insomniac have held the details of this new game close to their chest, including an official title and release date.. It’s safe to bet that we’ll be seeing more of Spider-Man PS4 (working title) at E3 next week.

The preorder screens on websites such as GameStop and Amazon describe the game as featuring “acrobatic abilities, improvisation and web-slinging that the wall-crawler is famous for, while also introducing elements never-before-seen in a Spider-Man game.” Though vague, this information is insightful to what Insomniac may be aiming at with their new game. There seems to be a strong emphasis on the combat and gameplay. And with Spidey having one of the most unique personalities and fighting styles out there, this could lead to some astonishingly impressive gameplay.

Keep an eye on Shacknews.com next week as we will be sure to bring you the latest details and news on Spider-Man PS4 as it’s announced.
