Diablo 3's Necromancer Beta is Now Live

Necromancer lives... again, in beta form.

Blizzard has pushed out Diablo 3's Necromancer beta, in which select participants can take the game's newest and pastiest class for a spin.

A based-on adaptation of Diablo 2's Necromancer, Diablo 3's iteration headlines the Rise of the Necromancer expansion pack due for release later this year. Unlike Reaper of Souls, Rise of the Necromancer will not add a new act to the game's campaign. Additions include the Necromancer class, more room in your stash, a couple of extra character slots, and cosmetics.

You'll need Reaper of Souls installed to play the Necromancer beta, as well as Rise of the Necromancer when the DLC add-on launches later this year.
