RBR Hiring!
You guys have to be nuts if you don't jump all over this one. Rebel Boat Rocker, who have just signed a publishing deal with EA a while back are hiring, check out what Randy of RBR sent out:
Hi, This is a quick note to inform you (and hopefully your readers) that Rebel Boat Rocker is currently seeking a level designer, a modeller/animator and a programmer. More information about Rebel Boat Rocker and the open positions is available at http://www.rebelboatrocker.com
Thank you,
-Randy Pitchford Game Architect Rebel Boat Rocker, Inc http://www.rebelboatrocker.com
Randy is of course a former employee of Apogee, and I did an interview with him earlier in the week coincidentally.
LavaBall Released
Hey, it's out.. Lavaball for Quake. This is the first public beta so you better run over to www.planetquake.com/lavaball and grab your copy. PlanetQuake will be running 2 server with this mod so you already have a place to play.
New QBSP
A new variant of QBSP has been released by Greg Lewis, here is his description:
This is the first public announcement of a new QBSP tool. What's the gimmick for this one, you ask? It's designed to use significantly less memory than any of the other qbsp variants out there (wqbsp, ywbsp, etc), anywhere from 40% to 90% less. Unless you've got loads of RAM (more than 64 megs), that can mean significant time saved from swapping (I've heard reports of 17-hour qbsp times being cut to 40 minutes). It also has all of the main features of the other qbsp programs. Here's the
main feature list:
Transparent water
Hipnotic rotation
Most hard-coded limits are gone (MAX_MAP_PLANES, etc)
Multi-wad support (WorldCraft style)
.por file generation a la YWBSP
New improved .pts files (makes leak detection easier)
The zip is available at http://www-personal.umich.edu/~gregl/qbsp155.zip
Q2 Preview
Yet another preview of Quake2 over at gamespot. (Thanks Billy at VooDoo Extreme) this one is like 10 pages so you may learn something, have a look.
Hexen2 + Rendition
Rick Johnson, programmer over at Raven mentions in his .plan that there will be a Verite' port of Hexen2 and it just arrived at his
Hexen2 Stuff
The boys over at www.hexen2.com have done another walkthrough for Hexen2, this one is of the third hub for the full version. After you check that out head on over to www.hexenworld.com and take a look at their list of console commands that was just posted on the commands page of course.
Trinity
Man.. people are sure talking about this one a lot already, Trinity, John Carmack's yet to be finished next-generation technology for the new 3d game to come from id in a year or two has a blurb over at well, Next-Generation.
Hexen2 + Rendition
Rick Johnson, programmer over at Raven mentions in his .plan that there will be a Verite' port of Hexen2 and it just arrived at his desk, he likes it a lot.
Ran the alpha version of the Rendition port. I was very impressed with it.
.plan Wagon
So many guys updated their .plan files recently we'll just have to list them today:
QuAdS
Weiman has released a new version of his Quake add-on starter. There is now a splash screen, QWD suport, and improved display of level titles among other things.
Worldcraft Patch
A small problem with the new version of Worldcraft that was released v1.5, has been fixed with a patch you can grab over at www.worldcraft.com (It has to do with directx / direct3d stuff)
Duke4ever Shot
Ok, well I got too many damn emails about this to give a person credit for, but the first Duke Nukem Forever by 3DRealms screenshot has been released, here it is. Looks great.
Carful, this image is over 200k.. Yea, they could have released a slightly lower quality image, but uh.. there is only one.. so why not eh? Oh, I wan't to take a moment to say thanks to all the strippers out there. You girls do a wonderful service to America, I'm sure Mike's mom won't mind those hickies on his neck when she sees him for the first time in a few months, because they came from a stripper, and you girls are great.

Sound of the Day
Haven't had one of these in a while have we? Well uh.. thanks to a friend for this bad boy.
GL Qoole Beans
Hey, check this out.. a 3D accelerated version of Qoole has been released! You need a 3dfx based (VooDoo Graphics) daughtercard to use this bad boy. Make sure you also have the Glide Runtime Libraries. (You prolly have them already installed) Thanks to the Fluffy Bunny of Chaos for the word.
Hexen2 Cheaters
Ah.. damn it.. looks like there is a fix now out there to stop people from taking advantage of the cheats that made it into Hexen2 during Deathmatch. It's called NoCreate (In reference to that bug which lets people "create items" on the servers for people they like) Here is a copy hosted locally.
HeadHunters v2.0
Coolbeans, I mentioned a few days ago that this patch was nearing completion, and like.. it happened, here is the mail I got:
"The pak is done and we will post it to the page tonight. This will be the official HH 2.0 pak! So clients can download it without concern about having to download it over again. We will also distribute the qwprogs.dat to any server who wants to run the qw version. Send us email. Once this qwprogs.dat has been run reliably on several servers we will go public with the server side downloads! Several servers will be up this weekend and will be posted on the servers page. We hope to have both teamplay and deathmatch servers running."
3D Chips article
There is a pretty cool CGW article talking about the next-generation of 3d chips and who is gonna win the battle or something, oh.. and also on that note check out this excerpt from the latest VooDoo Review in possible reference to the VooDoo2 chipset:
"In fact I can't say much now (probably in 3 weeks I can) but we will have a product very soon that will double the frame rate of GLQuake - stay tuned!"
2 Previews
There are a couple of previews for Quake2, nothing new and exciting that I can see at either of them, but uh.. if you are bored I gues you should check them out. GameCenter has one, as well as Next-Gen. Oh, the Next-Gen article talks about the 200 player limit deal and a bit of exactly what John Carmack did to help make it work.
Quake Literature
There is a new story up at the Quake Literary Guide for you guys to check out. As always the guys over there are actually trying to make you think when you read.
2 More Previews
Ok.. after you have finished looking at those Quake2 previews, we have a couple of Jedi Knight previews for your viewing pleasure. OGR has a nice new one since those lucky guys have their own copy at the office. (Thanks Doug) and then PC Games has an assload of new screenshots posted in their gallery.
George on IRC
George Broussard, president of 3DRealms, those guys who made Duke Nukem and Shadow Warrior will be doing an IRC interview tonight at 9pm. Check out the id.lobosoft.com page.
More Chat
Next Friday (The 24th) several of the developers of Jedi Knight will be showing up on EFNet IRC in the e#jediknight channel to talk about their coolbeans game that is about to be released. Saw that on Blue's.
Worldcraft U.
Wow.. haven't seen one of these in a while, a meeting on IRC.. Ok, well the boys at Worldcraft University will be holding another one of their IRC tutorials for Worldcraft (You show up, ask questions, they answer them) on 3DNet IRC in the #worldcraft channel 9PM PST on the 21st.
Hexen2 Tourney
Here is mail I got about "The first ever Hexen2 tournament!!!!" or something. You guys realize that you are not permitted to play Hexen2 at all of your lan parties out there until these guys finish right? Since they called it first..
Sylvan Information Services, Inc. is expanding it's Main Street Melee Quake Tournament by the Addition of a HEXEN II Tourney!!! The tournament and LAN party will take place in our offices in Warsaw, Virginia on September 27th and 28th. Fame, Fun and Fortune, door prizes and demos. Register TODAY at the Main Street Melee Site. Free hot dogs and sodas too...

This is our first anniversary party and we're pulling out all the stops.
Requiem QW
Yet another new version of the Requiem patch for Quake, dig it:
Requiem QW Server 1.04b has been released. This is a small bug-fix version that fixes some problems with 1.04, until Requiem2.0 is released. On Requiem2.0, it seems to be getting bigger and better all the time. There are new weapon models all round, new sounds, new graphics, new DM modes, new teamplay modes, and a whole lot more extras, while STILL being a server-side patch. It's taking some time, but it'll be worth it. :)
MacQuake
Ok.. uh.. today is happy review / preview day.. check out Next-Gen's review of MacQuake. My guess? It will get a review very similar to the one that PC Quake got.

HexenC
Raven has released the zip file containing all the info you guys will need if you are ready and able to make your own patches to Hexen2 (This means the compiler). Grab it from here:
ftp://ftp.cdrom.com/pub/idgames2/hexen2/utils/hexenc/hcc.zip
Thanks to William Mull for the news.
WackAss Linked
Gah.. as always I forgot to update the weekly section until just now. Some good wholesome links in there for you guys to check out. here ya go.
.plan Wagon
Brian Hook, one of the programmers over at id Software updated his .plan talking about the Quake2 rendering engine and the PCX2 card. I'd have to agree, Vik Long just sent me the new drivers last night and the card is doing pretty damn good.
So we got these new drivers for the PowerVR PCX2 and, uh, like, they rock.
The PCX2 is easily the no-brainer purchase for GLQuake for the price. The triple buffering really makes a difference, and their performance is really really good, we're getting 29.1 fps WITH 24-BIT COLOR. No weird dithering artifacts. No tearing.
There are some glitches with its filtering, but hopefully that will be resolved soon enough.
Oh, and the new driver seems to sorta-kinda work with Quake2. There are some visual glitches, but other than that it's pretty damn fast, possibly faster than Voodoo in many areas.
After that update, Christian Antkow updated his .plan talking about one of the levels in Quake2 where you will uh.. learn to love to hate this place, or something like that.
Demo Parser
QParse by Phillip Martin has just been released and adds to the ever expanding number of utilities dedicated to Quake demos. This one will parse .dem files, and in the future .qwd files for death / kill messages etc to give you stats.
MDL Editor
After you have checked out that .dem parser, Phillip has also written a mdl editor (You can play with those ogre and player models and stuff) Grab it from ftp.cdrom.com
Rematch?
It looks like Sharky is backing up his man Billy over at VooDoo Extreme (scroll down a bit) after that beating I handed him int he no-sleep department. He is asking for a rematch on the 20th (Which I can't do, LAN party baby..) But we will work out a time and place soon enough. Also, I got email from John Cash over at id Software thinking that he can hang with us, we may have to let the guy down easy..
Quake64 + Modem Play
Hanif ripped this from Redw00d's page (So I don't have to take the blame) that it looks like the Quake port for Nintendo64's may actually have modem play! Hm.. wonder if the port included the client/server model as used on the PC or will it be peer to peer? Could Quake64 on the modem be better? heh.
Thanks to Mitch Berry for sending along the news that the 64DD removable hard drive for the Nintendo 64 is going to include a built in modem. This raises the question, now that multiplayer ability is being included in Quake 64, will we be able to use this modem? User support was the reason multiplayer was put back in, maybe that's what is required again.
TEN + GLQuake
Looks like the boys at TEN have figured out that GLQuake is a good thing and now have finally implemented support for it. Check it:
TEN's interface was updgraded today to add support for the latest versions of GL Quake and VQuake. TEN's servers have also been updated with maps that have been processed to display transparent water, slime, lava, etc.
TEN has also added command line options that enable players to set different GLQuake performance variables such as allocating more RAM to GLQUAKE. For more info, go to http://www.filefactory.com/GAMESCAPE/BASETEN/DATASPHR/QUAKE
The Frag
Wow.. this LAN party from hell is filing up fast, if you wan't your shot at playing some of the best in the world, you better be there. There are only a few openings left. Oh, giggler, ParadoX, and I will be attending so you can make demos of beating our asses.
Tournaments
Saw these over on Blue's (ok, I got mail about these also, but I read it on his page first)

.plan Wagon
Hah, you thought I was sleeping? well Paul Steed of id Software has updated his .plan with news that he is having a contest of his own, check out the rules:
CONTEST TIME
I've decided if Tokay can have a contest then so can I. I want to launch a Q2/Steed Crackwhore contest. The rules are simple:
1. Send me a picture of someone dressed up like the Q2 Crackwhore model based on the spec sheet I sent to Redwood which is posted on his site.
2. The winner would be the picture which I feel is the closest representation of the model and her animations.
3. The prizes include a signed copy of Quake2, a cool Q2 shirt, and some Victoria Secret lingerie picked out by yours truly.
4. Pics can be e-mailed or sent to me via regular mail at:
id Software
18601 LBJ Fwy, Ste. 666
Mesquite, Tx 75150
5. No pics of anyone under 18, please.
6. Contest ends the day the game ships.
7. The Crackwhore clan isn't involved or responsible for this (unless they want to be).
Really. I'll post something of substance soon. I swear!
Job?
A new page has opened on PlanetQuake dedicated to job opportunities available at their website. They are looking for volunteers, so uh.. you do it for free. "If you are motivated, talented, and have some time to donate we want to hear from you!"
Gooseman Interview
The dude behind that quite impressive Navy Seals TC for Quake has been interviewed over at the Inside 3D web site.
Thrill of Victory
Ah.. it feels so good.. looks like Billy decided to wake up. He had a little run in with 20 or so guys at his house though, sorry to hear it. Note the new quote at the top of my page, courtesy of Mr. Wilson of VooDoo Extreme
Jedi Knight Release Date
Duh.. this was so obviously big news that I didnt even post it yesterday.. um, brain fart? ok.. well here is the deal, LucasArts has announced that Jedi Knight, the sequel to Dark Forces will be avaialable on shelves for October 9th!. This is a good thing. Oh, and uh.. man.. should I sleep now?
I win the bet!
Here it is, myself vs that Billy Wilson pud over at VooDoo Extreme. Which man can stay awake for the most consecutive hours. He thinks he has it goin on! That boy can't hang. Here are the stakest, straight from the horses mouth:
"Oh, and I'll bet you - - um, a leaf blower, a lawn-chair, a chain-saw (black and decker), a 6-pack of vaseline and a spatula. Now that some stuff worth some serious cash on the black market in parts of Mexico!"
<snip>50-60 hours? Jeez! I'll take your 50-60 hours and raise you 5 hours. I'll also throw in a 12-pack of those tasty Hungry Man dinners! (That mystery meat one)
I'm gonna rip him a new one!
5.10am Update, Every hour baby, Billy can not hang. I am here and uh.. updating or something.
6.10am Update, Things are looking good, I think Billy is about to fold early!
6.50am Update, It's not even 7.10am yet and I'm updating! why? Because Billy knows who daddy is. Homeboys was writing checks with Eudora that his ass can't cash!
7.15am Update, Uh oh.. Billy's perpetratin over there, thinkin I aint be doin my own updates? Sheit.. I'm just so damn wide awake that I was playin myself some Sin! Hm.. maybe I should try and dig up some more news since I'm up eh?
7.45am Update, Now Billy is beginning to understand.. thats right I have a Mountain Dew next to me damn it! I'm keepin it real.
8.05am Update, My face itches.

9.25am Update, Ok.. Billy is 10 minutes late right now. I hate to think it was that easy! Tell you what though, if he's already. If so, Billy will be required to refer to me as Command Master Webmaster Chief sCary. Furthermore, I'll keep this up just for a few more hours to rub it in. <g>
10.25am Update, Yup.. looks like I win! man oh man is Billy gonna feel the wrath of this one when he wakes up. Talkin all that smack and all that jive, but look who brings home the bacon! Thats right kids, so may I will proudly say this:
Billy, Who's Yo' Daddy!?
SiN Stuff
Couple of other cool things going on in the SiN department recently. First off there is a preview of our glorious game over at the Entermedia pages. There are also a couple pieces of concept art included in that article of our two main characters.
After that, you gotta head on over to Allgames Network and have a listen to a real audio interview with a few members of our esteemed staff.
btw, target system for SiN is a p150. Not a p166.
Shadow Warrior
In a bit of contrast to the not so great review of Shadow Warrior given by AVault and some other page (I forgot already) Next-Gen has given Shadow Warrior by 3DRealms a somewhat positive review.
Shadow Warrior, like Blood before it, isn't a tremendous improvement to the Duke Nukem style of game, but it gets all the important things right. Overall the title just ends up being an enjoyable game that brings players back again and again until it is finished.
Hexen2
The first review of the full version of Hexen2 can be found over at GamesMania. Looks good! Also, check out www.hotgames.com , apparently they have been listed in the Top 5 games. actually they have knocked Dungeon Keeper out of 1st place! Oh.. and another thing, saw over on VooDoo Extreme (weird page, I hardly ever go there) that Gamezilla has a cheat list for Hexen2.
QuakeRally
The Team Impact homepage has been updated with news on V1.3 of QuakeRally and some new screenshots of stuff to be included in the next release.
QuArK
Version 3.91 of the Quake Army Knife has been released, rather than me describing, here is a quote, thanks Prophet.
"This version was actually released on the 7th, but the zip file was corrupt. I sent an e-mail to Armin, and the corrected zip was sent today. There are a couple of new features. I was planning on sending an e-mail to Armin asking about "locking" textures on polyhedrons, so that when you moved it, you didn't have to re-align it. I as too late, he's already done it. :-)"
Help Wanted
Just got this email from Steve Fukuda over at QuakeLab, also btw. QuakeLab has been around for over a year now as of yesterday! Congrats on their longevity.. I remember when they first setup shop.. back in the day.. ah... Remember those BSP signatures and stuff? That was keen. I learned how to make a door there.
"The non-commercial QuakeLab Apocalypse project is looking for a very capable sketch/concept artist to create images of some very nasty creatures planned for the next phase of Apoc. Regular access to a scanner and a strong sense of commitment is required. The artwork will be used by the modellers, musicians, and artists as further reference points as the project progresses towards its 'Before 1998' deadline. Please send two or three examples of past work (or URLs if applicable) to stevefu@unixg.ubc.ca ."

SiN Screenshots!
Well lookie here, looks like the screenshots that were distributed on the press CD over at ECTS have made their way onto the net. The 3D game we are working on here at Ritual tends to wow a lot of people, and I bet these shots might prove that to ya. :)
The Construction site, which also includes that abandoned building area is done by Mike "giggler" Wardwell, the Mansion, home of Elexis Sinclair is done by Levelord.
Brian Hook Interview
There is an interview with Brian Hook of id Software over at VooDoo Extreme.. as always it's done in that style we all love the most. The link is at the top of the page.

Unreal Release Date Rumors
Here is the "straight dope"(tm VooDoo Extreme) from Entermedia talking about the recent release date rumors for Unreal.
We received word today from GT Interactive that Epic MegaGames' first excursion into the world of 3D gaming, Unreal, is tentatively scheduled for a late fall 97 release, as opposed to the reports that the game was pushed back to 1998. According to GTI, the Unreal development team (comprised of individuals from 7 countries) has concentrated their "virtual office" to one base location in Canada recently and are putting final touches on the game. A shareware version will be available two to three weeks before the game ships to retail and will be available on major Internet gaming sites

The boys who visited ECTS in Europe from Ion Storm have posted their impressions of ECTS. It seems Valve's Half-Life was indeed quite impressive (It's closest to release of the Quake engine based games)
Blockbuster Mob
Whew.. just got yet another letter from the boys at Blockbuster Video, they are gonna send someone over to break my kneecaps apparently if I don't cough up $2.81 pronto. Yea, they actually sent a letter to me saying they will send an "agent" from a "collection agency" if I don't hand it over. Sounds to me like the man is workin for Blockbuster.

Zeus Bot Source
As stated earlier, the Zeus Bot source code has indeed been released. Snag it from Nelno's homepage
Need to Cheat?
Well, fresh on the heels of the Cosmo cheat, looks like yet another way to cheat in Hexen2 has actually made it into the full version on the shelves. You can "create items" on a listen server for whoever you wan't. So uh.. whenever you see a Hexen2 server, and some dude has a 0 ping to it, be wary. Homeboy has more than just one advantage. Check out www.hexenworld.com for more info.
FvF Update
Version 3.8 of Freeform's Future vs. Fantasy Quake patch is out on the Freeform homepage. It has now been ported to QuakeWorld and also includes some tweaks to try and balance out the character classes a bit more.
GameSpot
Hey, a new look for the boys over at Gamespot, here's a quote from the email I got from one of the guys who work there:
Late last night during a flurry of caffinated energy...
GameSpot kissed its old look goodbye and ushered in a new, faster and easy to read facelift.
Check it out, http://www.gamespot.com

An update from the HeadHunter homepage on the status of the next version:
Prepare to spooge. Today I finished the last re-vising of the Headhunters V2.0 maps for Open GL, and god do they ever look cool as hell, thanks to my newly bought Diamond Monster 3d card. The only thing remaining to change now is the Quakeworld port, currently we are having trouble getting haunting to work. But never fear, we'll find a way to get it running, hopefully.
QSpawn V 1.11
Doh! A number of people mentioned this the other day, apparently there was a goofup with the last release of QSpawn (The author forgot to include the latest .exe in the .zip file!?) So now We are up to version 1.11, grab it from the homepage.
|

CyberAthletics FAQ
Well, all those questions you guys have been having about just what the hell is a CyberAthlete can be answered. Prophet the man has put together a FAQ to help everyone out. If you are wanting your own shot at being a professional game player, You better show up at The Frag and find out what the best players in the world are made of. Here is a quote from the FAQ:
What exactly is Cyberathlete?
In essence Cyberathlete is a combination of the computer game competitor and the traditional athlete, creating a new type of professional athlete that transcends the physical realm and competes in the vaster, more compelling virtual arena.
Is Cyberathletics a sport?
Yes. The Cyberathlete organization has as its overriding goals:
The international recognition of Cyberathletics as a sport.
The pursuit of sponsors that ordinarily restrict themselves to traditional athletes.
The endorsement of high-standard, professional tournaments.
In case you are wondering, yes I am involved with this project (In charge of media, and helping with tournament). We are going to make playing games for a living a reality for people. It's the dream of game players everywhere, and damn it We are gonna make it happen!
Zeus Bot Source Code
Jonothan "Nelno" Wright, AI dude over at Ion Storm, working on the Daikatana project has decided to release the source code to his Zues Quake Bot project. (The project that got him hired at Ion Storm) Here is his .plan update:
Okay. The day has finally come. Each week I get a couple of emails from poor souls begging me to release the source to the Zeus bot. I'm tired of telling people no. I've thought a bit about the Zeus bot compared to the AI I'm writing for Daikatana and I've decided that the two sources are far enough apart that I can release the Zeus source without giving any Daikatana technology away prematurely. I did start the Daikatana AI off with the Zeus bot code (in C, not Quake C, of course) but there are no longer any significant similarities between the two.
Zeus is a pretty good bot, but it's never been finished to my satisfaction and I simply don't have any time to work on it any more, so I may as well let the public mangle it. Sometime this week I'll be writing up a text file to go with the source, explaining the basics and some of the problems (some of which I don't think can be fixed with Quake C alone), and then I'll release the source.
And I'm sure I'll get 10 times as many emails from then on asking me to explain what the hell I was actually doing... great.
Check out Hudd's page for more info.
Unreal Report
Check this out, thanks Prophet:
"TOYMAN'S UNREAL EXPERIENCE
Toyman, our spy at Digital Extremes, just returned from a top secret undercover mission, where he risked his life battling Brutes, Skaarj and lighting effects. Read his report, revealing cool new details about Unreal."
It's up at http://unreal.org/features/toyman01.phtml

QMaster v2.0
Just got this email from the author of QMaster, uh.. here it is:

You can query and get information on game servers, launch a game, keep clanmatch scores, track clan members, send messages to other clan members, keep a listing of favorite web sites, and more. QSpawn v1.1
Here is a quote directoy from Derek French talking about the new version of QSpawn, thanks Prophet.
"QSpawn version 1.1 is released. I added the feature of viewing the Readme's for maps and Mods from within QSpawn. If a apropriately named readme exists for the selected map of Mod, a button can be pressed to view the document. This will probably be the last version of QSpawn 1.x as I am now shifting my attentions towards QSpawn 2.0 which will be a complete re-write.
I have a new programmer that is partnering with me on the next version ofQSpawn. We are still setting up her e-mail, but I want to welcome Avalon tothe QSpawn team and will gladly pass along any greetings of yours."
check it out at http://www.brutality.com/qspawn/

PaintBall Beta 3
Good news from the boys over at QTeam, a new version of Paint Ball has been released, here is the mail I got:
Paintball Beta 3 is out! This new beta contains everything needed to connect to existing Paintball servers or to run your own Paintball server! Both regular Quake and QuakeWorld are supported. There are cool new sounds (deaths, game start and end, item pickups), an arc on the paintball, new and updated maps, map rotation, bug fixes, improved documentation, and more! There will be no more support for old betas so everyone must upgrade (including server operators)! The new beta is available in two packages, a Windows 95/NT installation program and a ZIP file. The update is available at http://qteam.stomped.com
Quake Done Quicker
A new version of the highly impressive Quake demo which runs through all of the levels in single player Quake in amazingly short times has been released. Even though there is some fiddling with host_framerate (demo talk, if you don't know, don't ask) it is mighty impressive to watch.
BSP for Hexen2
New version of the coolbeans editor BSP (not to be confused with Qoole, which I also enjoy associating with fine beans) has been released with support for Hexen2 maps. Not sure if you can do much with the maps just yet since I doubt you can run external maps with the demo, but if you already have snagged the full version of Hexen2, you are in luck.
Qonfig
Werd em up, new version of Qonfig, a Quake front end util has been released at the homepage. I've heard rumors that the author of this little util also likes big butts, Hey.. I can not lie! I'm also quite positive you other brothers can't deny.
Blackout Ends
Paul Steed has updated his .plan to break the news that thankfully he will not be doing the "news blackout" thing that he had planned on doing earlier, apparently 51 or so people emailed him within 12 hours asking him not to do it. Good job guys.
JediKnight Dudes on IRC
Check this out, from Bryant Luk of Swgamers:
"The Jedi Knight Outpost http://outpost.simplenet.com/JediKnight/ made a statement on the upcoming chat with the JK Team next week at EFNet's #jediknight, the oldest and perhaps best JK channel right now. This is the first real public meeting that LEC will officially attend FYI. "
