Edited Valve Logs
Thanks to Sean McClease for sending me the edited log file of the Valve Software visit / interview on IRC the other day. (Mostly because I asked so nicely as he put it) Here is the log file.
There are quite a few questions answered including how voice overs will be done etc.
Jedi Stuff
Daily dose of stuff going on in the Jedi Knight world. (Damn computer got broken the other day so I still havent gotten to finish this game yet)
Qoole Beans
New version of Qoole has been released on www.qoole.com as always. There is now support for VooDoo Rush cards in the GLQoole version that should make a lot of you monkeys happy.
.plan Wagon
Uh.. there are these .plan files and stuff. Dudes in the industry like to update them to share their most intamate secrets with us. here they are:
LavaBall v1.0
It's out! version 1.0 of the LavaBall mod that a lot of people have been so excited about. Check out the LavaBall homepage and grab your copy. There are both client packs and server packs for admins / players to grab depending on well, what you wanna do.
Interviews
Sin Mailing List
Woah! all the latest news on Sin all on one list! Sign me up! just head on over to Defiance of SiN to sign your ass up. Hopefully these guys can tell me when Sin is getting released. I hope it's soon.
QOTH Winner
Just heard through the grapevine that the winners of the Queen of the Hill tournament have been announced. Well, the LPB section at least. You guys can take a wild guess who won this one.
Expert Quake v1.31
The Expert Quake page has been updated with a new version. Not sure really what is new in this one, but it has a new number and stuff so it has to be cool right?
|
New SiN Shot
The Ultimate Sin has gotten a hold of a brand new shot of Sin. It was Maarten's birthday last week, so we figured he should get something cool. There are a couple of much older shots on his page as well. Here is a thumbnail version of the shot, but you have to go to his page to see the full thing. :)
Also, PCGames.com has posted a little teaser with bits of info that you can find in this month's PC Games magazine with Sin on the cover.
More SiN
Since today is Sin day, Doc Holiday has released an image he has done of our favorite evil woman here at Ritual. Elexis Sinclair.
Valve on IRC
If you happened to have missed it. (Like maybe your computer exploded?) then there are some log files of the Valve Software IRC interview floating around on the net for you to read. Hopefully there will be an edited log popping up soon where somebody extracted all the juicy details. :)
Blue has posted this log that he received from Sean McCleese.
Half-Life Movie
Following up on that big chat session, Jaspur's Half-Life page has gotten a hold of a 1.5 meg movie of Half-Life. There are of course about a dozen movies over on OGR also because of the cool weekly monster feature.
Duke 4 Shots
Wow.. these are looking great! I can't wait to see what the boys on 3DR are working on. This month's PC Gamer has a few new shots to wet your apetite for Duke Nukem 3D's next sequel using id Software's Quake engine. Not a whole lot is really known about this project other than it will be based in Las Vegas and you can expect more fun with characters. Duke4ever.com has scanned and posted some of the info.
.plan Wagon
Brian Hook updated his .plan file with some really kind words for Ritual and our future, this one gave me a warm fuzzy so I better post is here. :)
Saw that Ritual hired Gary McTaggart from 3Dfx. It's going to be interesting to see what they can do now that he's on board, since his acquisition will give them all the tools necessary to do some really cool and different stuff. Gary is amazingly smart and creative, and Ritual has the potential to become one of the premiere game companies in the industry. From my own experience working at 3Dfx I can say that being a wannabe game developer at a hardware company was one of the more frustrating experiences in my life, so it's cool to see another 3Dfx alumnus get a job at a cool game company.
Our feelings exactly, although Brian did seem to miss the fact that we didnt just hire Gary, but Charlie from 3dfx as well. 2 programmers who have seriously brightened Ritual's future. :)
GameCenter and 3D Cards
A while ago you guys may remember Jack "morbid" Mathews ranting about how GameCenter seems to favor PowerVR. Well, in a recent article I just saw Blue point out that when comparing a PowerVR's framerate of GLQuake at 24.3 fps as "Damn Close" But then they refer to The VooDoo based Rush card's framerate at 25.4 as a "far cry from the performance of a stand alone VooDoo" I too begin to wonder. I'm the one who is allowed to let his opinions reflect in his reporting, not them damn it!
Moral of the story, don't look at the fluff, look at the facts.
Quake2 Shots on PC Gamer
PC Gamer has updated their beloved Quake2 section with four new screenshots of Quake2 that we are all itching to play. Redwood also mentions that there is a death scene pic in one of the shots that we can expect to see in the Quake2 demo hopefully.
Dos Quake.exe v1.08
id Software has released a new .exe file for DOS Quake lovers that will enable them to well, uh.. be up to date. As you guys may know, the previous version of DOS Quake that was most widely used was 1.06. Then 1.07 and .08 came out with the Quake Mission Packs.
It Blew Up
I am about 50% finished now setting my computer back up. Serious serious problems. Talk about a major pain in the ass. Gonna go eat, then try and finish things up by tonight, along with all the updates.
Hiya
It's uh.. 3am now and we are still working on these new machines that came in today. I just thought I would say hey and stuff. How you doin? I'm ok except for its 3am and I don't forsee myself finishing this CRAP for another hour. I could just put it off till tomorrow, But I am stupid, you probably knew that though the moement you saw me updating a web page at 3am huh?

Ritual Hires 2 Powerhouse Programmers
Oh my, big news here from Ritual Entertainment.
DALLAS, TX. - October 16, 1997 - Ritual Entertainment, makers of the highly acclaimed "QuakeŽ Mission Pack #1 - Scourge of Armagon", announced today the addition of two highly sought after programmers to their already talented team, Gary McTaggart and Charlie Brown both formerly of 3Dfx Interactive.
And later on in the press release, mention of the new tech:
- Procedurally generated geometry with continuous levels of detail
- Extremely rich surface materials
- State of the art character technology featuring inverse kinematics and NURBS based rendering
- Complete integration of 3D accelerated hardware
Take a look at the Ritual News page for the full press release and more info.
Ritual Pics
Hehehe, um.. the webmaster over at Ultimate SiN has somehow gotten a hold of a couple of pictures of our employees here at Ritual. They wish to remain anonymous,
BTW
I just bought myself one of those 3M "Precise Mousing Surface" mouse pads yesterday. (I payed an outrageous price because I'm a fool, but uh.. anyways) and I just thought I should recommend these things to anyone who really needs that extra bit of accuracy. I actually saw a noticeable improvement in my fine aiming in Quake. (Lightning gun, nailgun) Although on the other hand, flicking did suffer a small amount. *But, my 2 cents.. if you are doing a lot of flicking, you probably dont know where your opponent is, so yur screwed anyways. :)
Woah
*Finally* got a Malice CD here at the office from QA. WOW. Only looked at the first couple of levels over Paradox's back and we had a small crowd gathered in the office within 5minutes. :) The music is great, the weapon models are great.. damn.. Get this baby, it will keep you occupied until Quake2 comes out. :)
Jedi Stuff -Updated
AVault has posted their own multiplayer strategy guide to Jedi Knight going over DeathMatch of course. -Prophet
UGP's Jedi Knight Strategy guide has posted the 2nd edition. This one focuses on missions 9 through 21. There are also a number of new walkthroughs for several levels as well. I'm gonna be using this thing tonight myself. :)
Also, There is info on www.jediknight.net talking about the new version of QTracker and it's support for Jedi Knight servers.
QuakeCast Tonight
Just figured I should mention it here, Polish and myself along with possibly giggler will be appearing on Pseudo's QuakeCast tonight talking about The FRAG.
Half-Life at OGR
Coolbeans, the weekly monster from Half-Life has been posted over at OGR once again. This weeks monster is the Barnacle. Not quite as cool as that one from last week, but neeto none the less.
HCC For Hexen2 V1.09
Just got this email from Phoebus of www.hexenworld.com who in turn was forwarding this email from Eric Hobbs
Just to let you know, due to popular demand (well, one person asked) I have modified hcc to work with version 1.09 of Hexen II. It's called hcc1_09 and I just uploaded it to ftp.cdrom.com. It includes the source files and the executable. Just to let you know hcc1_09 does not work with the unpatched Hexen II (get this file for that). Hcc1_109 may load (highly unlikely) but the results could be very unpredictable. It would probably crash the game hard. Here is the source for hcc itself, very sloppy code it contains many, many warnings. I was mainly interested in getting it done quickly so many code skeletons are in there, quite embarassing.
GameCenter 3D Card Roundup
There is a new article posted on GameCenter which attempts to "round up" all the current and future 3d cards coming out on the market and compare them all as well. (One hell of a task)
It's been less than six months since we published our king-sized roundup of 3D accelerators, but the 3D acceleration landscape has already changed dramatically. Who would have thought that in less than half a year no fewer than eight new 3D chipsets would be introduced? And who would have thought that in that same time frame, more than ten brand-new cards would be competing for gamers' attention?
and the link..
http://www.gamecenter.com/Hardware/Roundup/3dcards2/?gtb.gca
Daikatana Mailing List
If you are already a Die-Hard Daikatana fan and just cant wait for the release, there has been a mailing list formed for all you guys to trade info and get answers to those questions you have been dying to ask. The Daikatana Shrine is the place you need to sign up at. Or email majordomo@warzone.com with the text "subscribe daikatana" in the body.
Cyrix Loves John Carmack
bootNET has posted an article from Cyrix talking about the next generation CPU they are working on and how Mr. Carmack himself should approve. Thanks Norton.
"And answering all the criticism of weak floating-point processing power, Cyrix promises the new chip will feature a dual-issue, fully pipelined floating-point processor with a strong enough FPU to keep even id Software's John Carmack quiet."
.plan Wagon
Daily list of homeboys updating their .plan's:
|
Wisdom
Yea, I know they are supposed to be posted in the mornings, but there was some bad planning involved with this weeks section, but it rocks your world now. Guest appearance by Kornelia even.
Quake2 Demo News (2 of em!)
PC Gamer has posted an article talking with Barret Alexander of id Software among other things confirming the rumors of 2 different demos of Quake2 being released. -Prophet
Sin Background
Michale Hadwin sent me this windows background that he uses and figures you guys on the net may enjoy. It is a slightly modified version of the "face-off" image that is on this months PC Games magazine.
.plan Wagon
Paul Steed of id Software has made a lengthy .plan update talking about "crunch time" and the similarities to final exams back in college. (I wouldn't know, I always cheated on exams by selling my body to the cute chick in front of me for answers... Ok, well maybe she was a bit pudgy.. whatever)
Interviews
Got a couple more interviews for you homecuts to check out:
TEN Pro Gamers League
Aside from the goofy attempt from TEN to call themselves the first ever professional gamers league. (Completely wrong, Cyberathletes was announced months ago) It looks like TEN has decided to jump on board with their own pro gamers league. There are two articles talking about the matter. The first season will be a Quake league, as well as Red Alert.
Should be quite interesting as Blue put it to be sure. Professional high stakes gaming over the internet. Yea, I can't wait for the first lawsuit on this one when some guy loses a $50,000 match because one of the servers had a bad router.
Zoid Interview
There is an interview with Zoid of CTF, QuakeWorld, and CTF for Quake2 fame over at the Quake Workshop hosted by Brutality. Zoid talks a bit about implementing CTF into Quake2.
Expert Quake
Version 1.1 of Expert Quake has been released over on the homepage. The new version apparently includes an interpretation of Rocket Arena as well that should be interesting. Btw, the new multi-arena is a blast. I checked it out earlier.
QuakeWeek Is Over.
Bummer, it looks like spRocket has announced that QuakeWeek, one of our favorite humor pages for the Quake Community is shutting down. :( -Jaegle.
EG Con
Probably one of the biggest meetings of great Quake player since QuakeCon or the Ferrari tourney, EG Con was held just recently and was finished in a tie between mikeJ and Humperdink. Check out the EG Con page with demos you can download and check out.
Jedi Hax0ring
The JediKnight.net page has their daily update as always, this time talking about the skins etc that you can play with and be cool. I still havent finished Jedi (I'm around the 18th level or so)
New Pure3D Drivers
Just got this email straight from Canopus themselves:
Canopus today released new Windows 95 display drivers for Total3D (version 2.2) and Pure3D (version 1.1) that offer complete integration of Total3D with Pure3D's TV-out capabilities.
Features include simultaneous TV/monitor display of 640x480, 800x600 and an incredible 920x690 desktop resolutions. A "Total3D TV" tab is added to the display properties control panel, offering complete positioning, flicker and underscan control. (NTSC and PAL supported).
Other features in these new driver releases:
Total3D
Mip mapping support On-the-fly color depth switching with Total3D Control utility
New refresh utility for controlling desktop and DirectDraw refresh rates
Pure3D Support for Glide version 2.4.2
http://www.canopuscorp.com/whatsnew.htm
Speaking of Pure3D
The boys over at www.frag.com have posted their own review of the Pure3D card. I'll have to whole heartedly agree with DaK that this card indeed does kick ass. I've been really wanting to put some benchmarks together to go along with my review. (that part is done) So hopefull you can see something on my page as well soon.
Multi Arena Servers
Here be the email I got from crt of Rocket Arena fame concerning that slow as hell server they posted the other day.. heh, it's better now:
I'm sorry for the confusion before over the first Multi-Arena server. I should have tested it with more players before making it public. It simply couldn't handle more than 6 players at a time.
However, we now have 2 other FAST servers set up, and are working on more. I would prefer you not post the IP addresses, since they are subject to change at any time. We have the most current Multi-Arena servers listed at: www.planetquake.com/servers/arena They will also appear on the PlanetQuake master server in GameSpy.
Once again, the map being run on these servers can be download at:
http://www.planetquake.com/servers/arena/marenrg1.zip
More Unreal Previews
Hm... I havent heard of this game before, but it seems that there is another 3D action game in the works by Epic Megagames called "Unreal" It looks pretty cool, so we may have to keep an eye on this bad boy. Here it be over on da Next-Gen page. Thanks to VooDoo Extreme
More Sponsors for The FRAG
They keep pooring in, The FRAG looks like it will indeed be something you do NOT want to miss. You think QuakeCon was big.. you ain't seen nothing yet. This will be the ballz. Everyone who enters gets a chance to give a hickie to giggler and try to match the ones seen in the picture below!
| .plan Wagon Well, Levelord made a .plan update yesterday that everyone here was pretty entertained with. He tells a story of Mr. Giggler's birthday and how he met with his only true love. Veronnica, then of course met up with mom the very next day. Here is the story, then of course the living photographic proof. btw, giggler just left for the night, so he wont see this till tomorrow morning. Poor guy, I know he's gonna love me for this. :) |

Prey Movie
Well, it's not actually a movie of Prey, but an interview with Paul S. of the 3DR Prey development team. This thing is abolutely huge, so you should probably only bother getting it if you are 128k ISDN or better.
Here is the file. (won't be ready until 5.30cst, uploading now)
Thanks to Lithium of www.preystation.com and Hanif
Unreal Screenshots
OGR has posted some new screenshots of Unreal for your viewing pleasure. These things are really looking good lately, I'm sure I'm not alone in saying "Please god release this, I just want to play the damn thing" Or uh.. something. Cliffy himself from Epic emailed me about this one. I'm hard at work on putting together my Unreal movie from all these screenshots. :)
Update: PC Gamer has posted their own one screenshot of Unreal just so they can be cool too.
DM3 Unfair Page
The Ammo guys are at it again, updating their page claiming how unfair map DM3 really is with some of the feedback they have gotten from people who read the page. I got a hearty laugh out of this one, lemme put in my 2 cents because I can. :)
DM3 is not unfair. If only the red players could get red armor on DM3, or only guys with names that start with the letter R could get the rocket launcher, that would make it unfair. Unbalanced? Yes, but unfair? Uh, no.
No Multiplayer in Quake2 Demo (Contd)
Figure I should leave this as todays headline as well (From last night) Welp, looks like id has decided to break the news. In quite a massive bummer, the Quake2 demo to be released "when its done" or "2 weeks" or uh, "soon" whenever will not have support for multiplayer. Don't worry though, of course the full version will have multiplayer, and Quake2World will follow shortly after the release. Here is generally the reason why from a member of id:
"We're made radical changes to the underlying architecture of Quake. We've moved to DLL code and the graphics engine got a major overhaul. The purpose of this demo is an architecture test... We want to give out the demo and make sure it runs on everyone's systems"
There will be an email account opened at id Software after the release to take bug reports as well. -Hanif
Weekly Demo
I done posted it, and on time and stuff.. Jeeze. The description is in there but I'll post it here as well just because I'm crazy. Hell, I'll quote myself even:
This is a demo of me running around like a complete dork jumping everywhere on DM4 with teamplay 1 turned on. It's a pleasant surprise when you find out that the server is set to teapmlay 1 and you can't hurt yourself. bummer is they turned off the lightning bug so I couldnt be a complete ass and zap everyone from the lava, oh well.
[MhZ] nInja's POV
Oh, in case some of you didnt catch it before, this is the name I play under sometimes for clan matches mostly.
Unreal Developer Site
Another game getting close to release, Unreal, has a developers site underway being worked on by Sean Green of Shadows. He is interested in some homeboys helping him out if you are interested, here is the email I got:
The first and most important thing to mention is that I hope devemp to be more than a site. What I'm shooting for is to have "teams" of developers, all working on what they're best at, for example we may have teams for news, textures, brushes, levels, scripting.. etc.. the team members would be under no pressure to release anything, meet deadlines etc.. they could just work on their stuff like they would do normally and then release stuff on the devemp.
"The" Redwood!?
Oh my goodness.. this is good stuff here. One of our own, Sean Martin has hit celebrity status. Dig on this article all about Sean and the stallion that he is. You know who is gettin some tonight.. Saw some Blue monkey on IRC link it on irc btw.
Jedi Stuff
JediKnight.net News has passed along word that the boba fet patch that was made available the other day has had some updates dig it, check out www.jediknight.net for more.
"we just put up a variety skin pack for solo play which allows you to be all of the following charcters (via skins) (490k) Boba Fett, Commando, Cybot (C3PO), Jan Ors, Jerec, Max, Officer, R2D2, Rodian (Greedo), Sariss, Stormtrooper, Trandoshan, Tusken, and Yun.
If you are looking for hints on how the heck to finish this game, check out this Trail Guide to Jedi Knight. It should help you make it throught the entire game and includes a lot of those secret areas that you have been wondering about as well. (Use the force) If you are running a quality / coolbeans Jedi Knight web site, make sure and let the guys at www.jediknight.net know about it, they are looking for members to their ring.
btw, I joined the dark side a couple of days ago. Sorry.
Riot Music
A new mp3 of the music from Riot: Mobile Amor has been released on their website. (Thanks Blue) Oh, hold down shift when you click on this thing.
Preview / Review Land
Here they are for today, I'm sure more will pop up during the day as well so I'll update these as they are found:

Half-Life News
Sierra has updated their Half-Life page with some cool ass info concerning a CD that will be made available with demonstrations of the neeto stuff that you can expect to see in Valve's Half-Life:

werd to Prophet.
Defiance of SiN
A new SiN page has popped up over at Telefragged, this one looks to be a quailty site that I'll be checking out on a regular basis as it seems stuff happens here in the office that I dont even know about sometimes.. heh. check out http://sin.telefragged.com and have fun kids.
Btw, we have signed the Hanson's to do the sound track for SiN. They have a driving beat, and I can dance to it.
Multi-Arena
Dig it! ripper.stanford.edu:27500 is running a beta of the soon to be released (hopefully) multi-rocket arena mod. Yet another twist on the immensely popular Rocket Arena patch. Here is the map that they are playing. Of course you can grab the latest version of Rocket Arena in my files section. (I have the file size wrong just to keep you on your toes)
Giana Lives
Lots of people have been wondering if the Giana Quake project had died or something, well looks like it hasnt. Check out the Giana Quake homepage over at www.brutality.com/giana/ and dig on the recent news. -Prophet
Pickup Lines
As many of you may know, I'm a big fan of pickup lines, I just found this huge list in my email download folder, dont know who sent it to me but these things are classics that you must read if you ever plan on picking up da women in bars.
The FRAG Ups Machine Limit
Whew! Thank goodness.. There was one major concern at The FRAG recently, the limit on # of computer people can bring was set at only 100. (plus the 64 dedicated tournament machines) Well that has been raised to 240 BYOC computers (plus the 64 tourney machines) for people who want to free for all during the big LAN fest. Just about every durn good Quake player in the world will be "representin" and lookin to win some prizes. The way we have things going right now it looks like almost everyone who comes will end up taking some sorta door prize home. No shit.
Oh, and I'm one of the poor fools organizing this thing. Yea, I can't wait to make all those cables.
The Regression
Well, I just got totally sick of FP98, and I wanted the world to know. It's a slow nasty pig, just like Explorer 4.0 I'm oldschool now, FP97, Eudora, and Netscape are the tools of my trade.
DM Tips from OGR
David Perkins of OGR, an avid Quake deathmatcher has shared his tips on Quake Deathmatching on DM2 and DM4 a bit. He also touches on DM3 a little and discusses a number of basic tactics as well. Not a bad article, would like to see even more in depth coverage.
Jedi Stuff
The JediKnight.net page has a patch for you guys to download that will let you play in singler player mode as Boba Fet or even the rabbit Max from Sam N Max (It's a cartoon)
QuArK v4.02
Yet another new version of the Quake Army Knife has been released. Check out the homepage, grab your copy, and have hours of endless fun. -Prophet
KeyGrip Icon
This is from crt of the KeyGrip project, which of course is the Quake demo editor:
"Building up to the release of the KeyGrip 1.0 beta, we are announcing an Icon Contest. We're looking for a really snazzy new icon for KeyGrip 1.0. It has to be a standard, 32x32 16 or 256 color Windows .ico file. The theme should encompass both Quake and movie editing if possible. Send entries to wrightd@stanford.edu. The winner will be announced when the new beta is released."
Send your entries to wrightd@stanford.edu The winner will be announced when the new beta is released shortly.
Quake in a Box
Following up on that article we saw on Next-Gen the other day, Hyper@active has an article of their own talking about Quake hitting the arcades. -Prophet
Team Fortress v2.65
TeamFortress News is predicting a new version within a few days, here is a quote from the page. -Prophet
"The TF 2.65 BugFix is in testing and you'll probably see it running on various servers within the hour. It fixes most, if not all, of the known cheats in TF. It is not an official release yet... and won't be until we're sure it fixes all the cheats. You can do your bit by playing on BugFix servers and keeping an eye out for anyone cheating. Please don't mail us reports of people cheating on non 2.65 Bugfix servers... we know it's possible, and we know how it's done. Official release should be within the next couple of days. "
Jedi Editing
The JedKnight.net page has a new file extractor for Jedi lovers out there which is of course found on another Jedi page, www.darkjedi.com Saw that on Blue's.

Amazing Discoveries
Well, as a few guys around here mentioned, there was the monthly arcade auction here in Texas this weekend, and the Ritual guys came home with 8 new machines to have here in the office. One of them was Ms. PacMan, which I formed an emotional attachment to almost immediately to. I have something to admit though, I am a camper. :(
I found myself waiting next to the powerup, with absolutely no guilt, just so they ghosts would get close, then I would pop up, use the powerup and frag them. Oh how I hate myself now.. I have become the person I always hated. *sob*
Another thing I have noticed.. in game cut scenes! Heck.. even Ms. PacMan had these.. Although I only saw 3.. (Amazingly, my first time playing this thing as an adult I did better than I ever did as a kid) and they kept playing the 3rd scene over and over.. but still.. Here I thought cutscenes were relatively new..
Oh, we got missile command here as well.. Geeze.. In case the machine ever breaks, we can always salvage that huge ass BOWLING BALL that you aim with and go down to the local bowling alley. Talk about huge..
BSP HQ
The boys over at BSP HQ, http://bsphq.telefragged.com have given the page a big site redesign. As some of you may know Yahn, the programmer of BSP has made a special version of this coolbeans .map editor that a pair of guys here at Ritual use to make maps. If you are still using one of those other editors that seems to no longer get support, you should try BSP out. Yahn is constantly working on this thing making it the best it can be. -Hanif
New Slide
Something I forgot to mention yesterday, a new version of Slide, the TC that was being shown off back at The Fray and was quite a hit has been released with new improvements. There is also a 9 level slide map pack for you guys to check out while you are there.
QTracker for Jedi
Probably some of the coolest news I've heard in a while, Version 1.1 of Qtracker will have support for querying Jedi Knight internet servers! Make sure and keep an eye on the QTracker homepage for release info.
Malice
Well, I got my Malice CD via FedEx last Thursday but the damn offices of my building have been closed at the weirdest hours lately. I hope to get to actually look at it tomorrow morning.
You can check out the cover art over at MacQuake Nexus.
Nifty Article of the Day
There is a new article on PlanetQuake done by the Quake Done Quake boys talking about a few new tricks that they have discovered in Quake. It's called ZigZagging Through a Strange Universe. Now, I wanna see someone make an alias that will automatically take care of using this cool "bug" in Quake.. :)
.plan Wagon
Got a few more guys updating their .plan files recently.. Glad to see it is no longer 2 dozen guys a day doing it now.. and a reasonable number.
Congrats
Wanna wish Mr. Heaslip over at Blue's news a happy anniversary.. He's had his own domain now over at www.bluesnews.com for an entire year now. I've been trying to figure out how long my page has been around, prolly gonna have to ask mom. I suspect a bit over 2 years now.. Anyone remember back when I was on rockisland.com? Please let me know if you have an exact date (or within a week) of my page back then. :)
